Okay I am ready to start adding content to my site I am making on my own personal Authority Niche Site Challenge. I’m pumped and have lots of great advice from the daily Wealthy Affiliate course tips and guide that I get to my email. I have also been starting their Article Marketing Course. It has 11 chapters I think and I am done the first chapter already.
Anyways down to business. I have a google spreadsheet saved with keyword broken down by category. I have about 100 keywords total and tried to only go with ones that are unique without much overlap. Every day I will write one article for my blog. It will have a keyword density of approximately 1 to 2% but without paying too much attention to that. I eventually want the site to be a big community so I am writing for the readers, not specifically for the search engines.
For the article marketing side of the site I am going to write a post on the topic I added to the blog the day before. This way I don’t have to get bored writing two detailed posts on the same topic every day. I think that will help keep things fresh!
My plan for every post on my site is to have things broken into a short paragraphs that are easy to read. I will have an intro, three or four topics discussed in detail, then usually a conclusion if it is warranted (which it isn’t always). The post title will simply be the keyword. In each post I will try to link to one other article on my site.
The site for this Authority Niche Site Challenge will have one big block of adsense either in the top of the post (or randomly inserted…not sure yet) and then a few amazon products naturally linked to within the text. I am not thinking yet of adding banner or image amazon links but that may change in the future. Not much traffic so far since I only have a few posts and one backlink showing up in yahoo site explorer. I will not start reporting earnings here until they have started.
